The challenge in this respect has to do with the ability of a manager to convey passion when he/she doesn’t agree with the related company objective or directive. We are the mirror where our collaborators look at. A mirror reflects everything, the good and the bad, the joy and the dissatisfaction. How to ‘sell’ something we don’t believe in, is hard to manage.

Rajesh, i fully agree with you. But i can honestly say that i have seen countless instances where managers assigned tasks where they expected them to fail to be delivered, not only that but they made their feelings clear.
