No Mananas

manana

Putting things off until tomorrow is a potential first step on the road to failure.

We should look to make progress on every single day that it’s possible, as we don’t know what tomorrow will bring.

On projects, if the project is 100 days long, then we should look to make a minimum of 1% progress each and every day. If possible, we should look to try and get ahead of the schedule, then we can ease into the final stages, confident that we are well positioned for success.

If we leave it until the last minute, then its like a boxing match where we need a knockout in the last round to win.

We might get lucky, but relying on luck is not a strategy thats going to pay off every time.

Take a no mananas attitude, instill this into your teams, and it will increase the probability of success.
