This is a place where users can communicate with administrators, or administrators with one another. You can report vandalism, problematic users, or anything else that needs an administrator's intervention. Do not report child pornography or other potentially illegal content here; e-mail legal-reports@wikimedia.org instead. If reporting threatened harm to self or others also email emergency@wikimedia.org.

Report users for clear cases of vandalism. Block requests for any other reason should be reported to the blocks and protections noticeboard.


Report disputes with users that require administrator assistance. Further steps are listed at resolve disputes.


Reports that do not suit the vandalism noticeboard may be reported here. Requests for page protection/unprotection could also be requested here.


Other reports that require administrator assistance which do not fit in any of the previous three noticeboards may be reported here. Requests for history merging or splitting should be filed at COM:HMS.

For years, I have been railing against incomplete deletion requests, which are caused by‎ malformed use of {{Delete}} templates and lack of follow-through, and which are populating subcats of Category:Incomplete deletion requests‎. This problem spurred the creation of that category 17:57, 1 February 2007‎ (UTC), 16 years ago, and my tracking of it 18:16, 14 November 2020 (UTC), two years ago. As a precedent, ColorfulSmoke was blocked 17:07, 29 December 2020 (UTC) by Mdaniels5757 with an expiration time of 3 days (account creation blocked) for "Continuing to make malformed deletion requests despite repeated instructions; not responding to concerns on talk page", pursuant to the discussion archived at Commons:Administrators' noticeboard/Blocks and protections/Archive 29#ColorfulSmoke and Alex Neman was blocked 16:30, 27 January 2023 (UTC) by Yann with an expiration time of 1 month (account creation blocked) for "Continuing to make malformed deletion requests despite repeated instructions; not responding to concerns on talk page". B18IDH made this edit 02:14, 14 May 2023‎ (UTC), omitting a section on the subpage, transclusion, and notice to the page creator. I warned the user and reminded them of proper procedures after that edit 11:07, 14 May 2023 (UTC). They made this edit shortly before 11:42, 17 May 2023 (UTC) (with similar problems). I reported such edits in what became Commons:Administrators' noticeboard/Blocks and protections/Archive 35#B18IDH 11:42, 17 May 2023 (UTC), to no avail. The user is continuing to make malformed deletion requests despite instructions and warning, is not responding to concerns on user talk page (except an attempt to delete the page 21:51, 25 May 2023‎ (UTC)), is uploading copyvios, and is abusing multiple accounts as below. Socks of Hfive5sgd2

These accounts are all clearly socks of the prolific spammer Hfive5sgd2 (talk · contributions · Move log · block log · uploads · Abuse filter log) .

Consistent with prior accounts, these accounts are uploading online casino logos and adding them (oddly) to Category:IMG (company). I've been asked to report DUCKs directly here, rather than RFCU. Also apparently a sock farm if you consider that on one side of the revert war there are the users SpanishFlag (talk · contribs), SpanishEmpireMCDXCII (talk · contribs), SpanishEmpireMCDXCII (talk · contribs), SpanishEmpireBall2009 (talk · contribs).... Uploading screenshots of the user's own appearances on news footage and websites, after a final warning that these were copyvios and a week-long block earlier this month.

Is it possible to protect this file File:Flag of Russia (1991–1993).svg from constant changes? Users revert it almost every day.
