How did the media of the day happen?

Your suggestions are all very good, and one person has combined your words into an image description of today's daily media. I chose this image at random and didn't expect the traffic to be so heavy today. In addition, the English description of potd is not maintained by anyone else except me. Home page layout

ːSomething is wrong here. Whenever I try to get into a category with categoryːfoo, I am placed into the images related to that category instead of the category page. I seems to have something to do with the international phonetic alphabetic icon that shows up. I even shows up when I try to sign this message when I try to sign it with four tildes, so I am unable to do so.
