Footer template for deletion requests, to be used with {{DeletionHeader}}.

Usage

{{DeletionFooter |1= |2= }}

Place the following above the header:

  • {{DeletionHeader}}

    And place the following at the end of the deletion discussion page to be closed. Use either Deleted or Kept in the RESULT field, depending on the discussion:
  • {{DeletionFooter|RESULT|~~~~}}

To add an optional comment, replace COMMENT with your closing comment:

  • {{DeletionFooter|RESULT|COMMENT. ~~~~}}

Sample usage

This deletion discussion is now closed. Please do not make any edits to this archive. You can read the deletion policy or ask a question at the Village pump. If the circumstances surrounding this file have changed in a notable manner, you may re-nominate this file or ask for it to be undeleted.

Sample deletion header

I would like to propose this for deletion. User:A.

  • Support. User:B.
  • Oppose. User:C.
  • Support. User:D.

Placement: At the bottom of the page

Localization is via {{LangSwitch}} in two subtemplates, Template:DeletionFooter/K and Template:DeletionFooter/D.

Deletion explanations are not currently localised by the template, but localised explanations can be provided together as part of parameter 2, eg
