Hi Jastrow, I saw this file of a sculpture of an artist still alive in a Museum and I am curious if that is really licensed correctly. As to me this should be deleted but since you are still active on commons I ask you first. Paradise Chronicle (talk) 07:35, 3 February 2023 (UTC)
- Hi! This sculpture features in the Tate Modern, in the United Kingdom. As such, it is covered under {{FoP-UK}}, which applies both to buildings and 3D artworks. Jastrow (Λέγετε) 08:42, 3 February 2023 (UTC)
- That is only or things that are "permanently" located in a public place or in premises open to the public. Is the Tate Modern really "permanently" accessible to the public. Is it open at night? Per its website it opens at 10am and closes at 6pm. Paradise Chronicle (talk) 00:57, 4 February 2023 (UTC)
- I think it truly adheres to the letter of the law, i.e. “sculptures, models for buildings and works of artistic craftsmanship, if permanently situated in a public place or in premises open to the public.“ Barring temporary exhibits, all sculptures in the Tate Modern are permanently situated there. The Tate Modern is open to the public. Jastrow (Λέγετε) 07:27, 4 February 2023 (UTC)
